Pia Zaverukha, owner of Kinyami Creative, is a graphic designer and artist with a passion for visual storytelling and typography. Starting out as a freelance graphic designer in high school, and then moving on to receive a degree in Visual Communication from the University of Arizona, Pia has spent almost two decades working in the creative design industry.
The name Kinyami is derived from the Ilocano word for "ours" and symbolizes the blending of her cultural and artistic roots and sharing it with the world. Pia enjoys working on fun, and vibrant designs—a reflection of her love for family, music and dance—all of which have a great impact on her creative work. Through Kinyami Creative, Pia aims to create designs that champion causes and organizations she believes in, inspiring connection, conversation, and positive change.
